Smartphones are now the most-repaired device in every town, and skilled chip-level technicians are hard to find. PCC Academy, the training institute of Prasad Cell Care in Visakhapatnam, teaches mobile repair the way it is done on a real service bench — because our trainers fix customer phones every day.
Two courses, one goal: job-ready skills
Basic to Chip Level (Apple + Android) — 26 days
For beginners. You start with tools, safety and phone assembly, and move step by step to fault finding and component-level work on both iPhone and Android boards.
Chip Level Specialist — 20 days
For technicians who already do basic repairs and want to handle dead phones, power faults and advanced board work.
What you learn
- Using a multimeter, DC power supply, hot-air station, soldering iron and microscope correctly
- Reading schematics and board-view diagrams
- Power, charging, display, audio, camera and network fault finding
- IC removal, reballing and component replacement
- Water-damage cleaning and recovery
- Software basics — flashing and common software faults
- Dealing with customers: diagnosis, honest quoting and testing before delivery
How the training works
- Practical, not just theory — most of the time is spent on real boards in our lab.
- Experienced trainers — founder Prasad with hardware trainer R. Vinayak and schematic trainer B. Prudhvi Raju.
- Batches every month — basic batches start on the 8th and advanced batches on the 13th; classes run 10 AM to 6 PM.
- Hostel support for students coming from outside Vizag.
- Certification on completion, plus the PCC Academy student app with 300+ practical videos and PDF notes — iPhone & Android basics to advanced motherboard work, glass work, software and eMMC programming with F64.
Who should join?
Students after 10th, intermediate or degree who want a practical skill, shop owners who want to stop sending boards outside, and working technicians who want to move into chip-level repair. You do not need previous electronics experience for the basic course.
